Medical Information At the beginning of the school year you will be asked to fill in a medical form for your child. This gives the school all the information we will need in case of an emergency when we take your child out of school. If there is any change to your child's medical needs as the year progresses it is essential that you let us know. When a student becomes ill during the College day, a first aider will assess their condition, and, if necessary, telephone you to request you collect your child. If possible please avoid the need for your child to bring and take medicines at school. The school has an agreed procedure for the Administration of Medicines. Please contact the school if you require further details. College staff will not give students non-prescriptive painkillers such as paracetamol. If your child suffers regularly from acute pain such as migraine, you should authorise and supply appropriate pain killers for their use. If you child suffers with a medical condition then please advise us so that we can ensure our records are updated.
